You start these tags by pressing the ` key which is located below the escape key and above the tab key on your keyboard.

Here are the tags:
`br = line break
`li = bullet point
`hr = horizontal line across the page (don't use more than one of these in a post)
`sp = a space

You can center text by:
[center]centered text[/center]

You can also use these three tags to format text:
[i]Italics[/i]
[u]Underline[/u]
[b]Bold[/b]
You can nest these three tags, like [i][b]this[/b][/i], but keep everything else (like the color codes) outside them.

You can also use links on the messages board by:
[http://www.web-docent.com]www.web-docent.com[/]

Please Note: the link inside the [] must contain http:// otherwise the link will not load probably. All links are brought up in new windows, if your browsing method allows that.

You can also add e-mail links on the message board
[mailto:me@me.com]my email[/]

Colors:

`0 - White
`1 - Green
`2 - Red
`3 - Blue
`4 - Orange
`5 - Yellow
`6 - Purple
`7 - Pink
`8 - Grey
`9 - Light Grey
`10 - Light Blue
`11 - Yellow Green
`12 - Turquoise
`13 - Steel Blue
`14 - Plumb
`15 - Olive
`16 - Brown
`17 - Gold
`18 - Lawn Green
`19 - Tomato
`20 - Black

In addition, the `` (double backtick) will return the text to the default color. (Default for any color scheme, not just yours)

Here's an example... this text would appear `20black`` and this would appear `10lightblue``
