Fishing Tips & Info
0) Read through this first, then attempt. Does not work with AOL browsers.
1) Make sure your dead, unless your under a week old.
2) Pull 3000 out of the bank (Or take 6 times how much the tip costs for the fish)
3) Go to the Fishing Hut
4) Right-Click on "I want to look at my logbook", Click "Open in a New Window"
5) Back on the main window, Make sure you have the neccessary equipment for the designated fish. If not, buy it now.
6) Click on "Ask me again when I'm back from climbing yonder hill.", Drop in 50 - 500 Credits.
7) Click "Help me load up my boat, I'm going fishing!" or "I'm off to the riverbank to fish!"
8) If you have a boat, make sure you tip the guy 20 credits.
9) Equip your designated Equipment. Casting rod (3 - 9) Large rod (1 - 6) Those are the limits. Column wise.
10) Go back to the second screen (Your Logbook). Get a fishing tip of the fish you want to catch.
11) Immediately go back to the boat/river on the first screen.
12) Click Fish. You should see a message saying "You caught So-and-so fish" It is IMPARATIVE that you let this screen load, don't do 13 until you see the "You Caught" message.
13) Click Back on the browser.
14) Click Space button.
15) Repeat steps 13 and 14 until you do not catch a fish (If you get a message, and it doesn't show that you DIDN'T catch a fish (ex. the whole screen says soemthing about another fish, but it doesn't say that you didn't catch anything) then you still got it. (If that confused you, ignore it)
16) When you don't catch a fish, go back to the second screen (Logbook) and click back, then get another hint.
17) Repeat steps 13 and 14 until you run out of Endurance.
18) Go to the Fishing Mart, and sell your fish.
19) This step separates the big boys from the newbie fishermen.
20) If you have gotten over 14k from all your fish, then Go and buy the Coffee.
21) Just doin some math on this step (14k - 7500 + another 14k = 21k)
22) Now, go back to step 7 or so. And do your new 25 Endurance.
23) When that runs out, then your done, Sell those fish, and bask in your profit.

Basic Fishing:
What you need to buy:
Essentials: Fishing Liscence (200 creds), Large Rod (200 creds), 5 packs of grubs (50), 10 of each hook (45 creds), Large Pail (200 creds) Total cost = 695 [With Extra's = 1245 creds]
If you have extra cash to blow: Casting rod (400 creds), Medium & Small Pail (150 creds)
Patrick, my Secret Project Gnome will gladly give you co-ords to the Rainbow Trout (biggest fish in the river) and Eels. Just QP him at SecProjGnome (anifreak88@yahoo.com), He'll help ya out, He will also provide all the basic supplies ( In Cash ) for use on them only. You must be 5 days old or less for the supplies. He will give anyone a tip, but once you have i in your log, get it youself!
If I ever get the Trout myself, I'd be more than happy to set you up too.
Now that you have supplies, you should have some extra spending cash (I'd say 100-200 would suffice efficiently). Ok, I'll just take a second to address the question "But where do I get this money?", Well, this is a guide for newbies, so If your a lvl 10 alien, who's never fished, you shouldn't have this problem. But, you start out with 300 credits, you can get free marks in the housing complex, and If you sell them at 600 a peice, you should get some quick money. Two marks would cover most of this. If you were lucky on your first day, you could get 12 marks from there, sell 2 and get a gym pass. Other money sources: gambling, The battling trainer (But you can't do that until your Newbie Week protection is over), but NEVER EVER BEG. Or patrick could give it to you.
Now on how to fish. What you should do, is go into the yonder hill, and drop in 5 credits, then click on "I'm off to the riverbank to fish!" Then equip the supplies needed.
Next, if you get co-ords from patrick (or me in the near future) then he'll give them to you in (X,Y) format. The X is the numbers at the top, and the Y is the numbers on the left. So if they're (4,7) you would click the fourth radio button at the top, and the seventh radio button on the left.

Fishing Querks:
Fish prices go up in lvls.
here are the exceptions:
Transition between Lvl 15 and Lvl 16, fish prices go down.
Lvl 16 through 25, fish prices go up.
Transition between Lvl 25 and Lvl 26, fish prices go down.
For how long after that, I don't know.
Boat Information:
No boat 0k Gets you to the Fishing River.
Rowboat 1k Gets you to the C&O Canal.
Motor Boat 5k Gets you to the Fishing Pond.
Speed Boat 20k Gets you to the Echo Lake.
